At the core of the Solace Creek Colorado
project are the stories. Crossing multiple genres in novella,
short story, and novel length formats, these stories chronicle the
lives of 350+ people who live in work in the village of Solace Creek
Colorado and the neighboring Boulder-Springs metroplex.

more about the Solace Creek Stories and the people who inhabit
them.
A note about the sites:
The sites of the Solace Creek Stories are fluid, and constantly
changing. As the project progresses, we walk a series of thin
lines. We are cautious to separate the material published
on-line from the works that are targeted for the commercial
publication market. We are, unfortunately, in a time of
radical transition in the publishing industry, and many traditional
houses are reluctant to publish any thing that has previously
appeared on-line. On the other side of the equation, every day
new books are being developed and marketed that are based on or
wholly comprised of materials previously available on-line or
through other media. Have fun with us on the journey. |

As in the real world, media plays key roles
in the world of the Solace Creek Stories. The media influences
thought, provides information, and establishes trends.
The
Boulder-Springs Journal is the primary newspaper of the
Boulder-Springs Metroplex. As a part of ANS, the Journal
brings the world to the citizens of Boulder-Springs.
The
Solace Creek Statesman is, on the other hand, the small village
newspaper in Solace Creek, Colorado. Run on a shoe-string
budget, somehow the Statesman always seems to trump the Journal on
political news.
"If it's not on television, it didn't really
happen."
York Broadcast Network is a global giant, headquartered in New
York. Some of York's top executives and personalities have
homes in the Solace Creek area. Local affiliates are KYBN-5
television in Boulder-Springs and KZUD radio 88.2 in Solace Creek. |
